ABOUT

Montana Will Worship exists to bring music and ministry to the thirsty hearts of Montana and beyond. It has been said about our state that "a river runs through it." And we believe that God Himself is moving like a river—a river of His truth, love, and power—that will sweep across the whole state. We believe that He has not forgotten the small towns either. We refuse to partner any longer with the lie that Montana is too hard or too dry. The despairing question was asked in Jesus' day, "Can any good thing come out of Nazareth?" And many longing hearts have wondered the same thing about their own seemingly insignificant, dead, and forgotten towns. But we serve a God who delights to use the small and even foolish things to confound the wise—a God who raises the dead.

With this confidence, we host worship gatherings around the state. And we are watching God meet us powerfully. The sick are healed. The lost are found. Believers are falling in love with Jesus all over again. And weary hearts are revived. It's not too good to be true. Just like Jesus promised, when just two or three of us gather in His name, He shows up.

Our team is made up of passionate worshipers, musicians, and lovers of Jesus who have experienced a touch from God and want to freely share it with everyone we meet. We are based in Kalispell, MT under the leadership of John Gabriel Arends, who is a recording artist and a pastor at The River. However, Montana Will Worship is not about any single person, band, or church. We don't come to put on shows or build a name for ourselves, but rather to fan the flames of what God is already doing in the various parts of the state through hungry believers and faithful pastors. We believe in the local church, and it is our heart to link arms with churches and pastors across the state and support their work.

Montana Will Worship also believes that worship and the harvest are two sides of the same coin. Missions and evangelism exist because worship doesn't exist everywhere yet. It has been our experience that worship is contagious. When the lost see us loving and being loved by God, they cannot help but be drawn in toward the God who created them and experience the love and purpose that they've always longed for. We believe that Jesus is the hope of the nations and the desire of every human heart—even if they don't know it yet. At many of our events, we people giving their lives to Jesus and choosing to be baptized. (Often, that's Montana style: in a lake or a horse trough.)

There is an awesome promise in Psalm 22:3 that the Lord is enthroned upon, dwells in, and inhabits the praises of His people. It is our intention to lift up worship to the Jesus all across this state, and we know that, as we worship, He is enthroned upon the sound of our praise and the demonstration of our love. Whenever scripture gives us a glimpse into Heaven, there is day and night worship that never stops (Isaiah 6, Revelation 4). We believe that, as our worship increases, we will see His Kingdom and His will being done on earth as it is in Heaven.
